In a wide open race, it's sometimes difficult to discern who is best prepared to seize the moment of opportunity and surge to the front. And so it is with 3A boys at this early stage of the game.
One thing we can be sure of, however, is that there are potential contenders coming from all over the state, from Bayfield to Brush, and all points in between. We are staring at the appointed moment of opportunity for a large number of teams.
With the usual recipe of one part science and two parts educated guesswork, I'll take my best shot at where things stand at the moment.
