Few things about last year's cross country season are more difficult to account for than Peak to Peak's seventh-place finish at the 3A state meet. This is a team that was much, much better than seventh place, a team that easily could have finished as high as third. But, seventh is where they ended up. And that is what they've had gnawing in their heads for the last nine months.
This fall, they get an opportunity to rewrite the script. Almost everyone is back from that team, and there is plenty of talent to go around. In fact, there may be a significant addition to the team this fall, as well.
