NJCTC Outdoor Relay Championship, NJ

Highlights

  • St. Benedict's Prep (NJ) rolled in the DMR with a winning time of 10:16.50.
  • Christian Brothers Academy (NJ) won the boys 4x1500m relay with a swift 16:08.00.

 

SeaRay Relays, TN

Highlights

  • HS frosh Alana Hadley (NC) won the Women's 10000m run over collegians with a US#8 All-Time clocking of 34:59.38, close to two minutes up on the closest competitor.

Highlights

  • Haley Crouser (Gresham OR) just went into orbit with the Javelin, tossing it 181-2 for a National Record, eclipsing the mark of 176-8 by Avione Allgood in 2011!!  She joins her brother Sam as a Javelin Record thrower as he tossed 255-4 in 2010.  Ryan Crouser, her cousin, holds the national record in the Discus with a throw of 237-6.
  • Cody Davidson threw 201 in the boys Javelin for the win.

 

NYC Mayor's Cup, NY

Alexis Panisse (Benjamin Cardozo) stole the show with some amazing performances.  She won the 800m run with a US#2 2:07.89 performacne and then clocked a 6:59.34 to win the 2000m Steeplechase!

Friday Highlight

  • Lexington (SC) run a SC#2 All-Time 4x800 with a time of 7:51.72.  Cabell Midland (WV) was 2nd with a WV All-Time clocking of 7:51.89 with Jacob Burcham as the anchor leg.

 

Pasco Invitational, WA

Highlights

  • In the girls Elite Mile Katie Knight (North Central) and Maddie Meyers (Northwest) rolled to quick times with Knight getting the win in 4:51.57 to 4:53.54!
  • In the boys Elite Mile Marcus Dickson won with a time of 4:09.08 with Erik Harris 2nd in 4:10 and Korey Krotzer 3rd in 4:10.20!

 

Texas District Championships, TX

  • District 5A Highlights
    • Shelbi Vaughan tossed the disc an incredible 189-8, which is 3rd All-Time behind her National Record from earlier this Spring.
    • Aldrich Bailey rolls in the 400m dash to a fast 46.18 while Richard Gary finished 2nd in 46.65.
  • District 1-5A Highlights
    • Felix Obi (Franklin) won the triple jump with a nation-leading mark of 50-9

 

Hurricane Track Classic, PA

Highlights

  • Tori Gerlach (Pennridge) won the 1600m run with a solo US#4 clocking of 4:49.75.

 

Pizza House Invitational, WV

Highlights

  • Maggie Drazba (St. Mary's WV) shattered the WV State Record in the 1600m run with a time of 4:51.88.  The old record was 4:54.82 by Kaylyn Christopher in 2007.
