Highlights
- Olivia Ortiz (Lakewood Ranch) had a nice double in the 1600 (5:02.08) and 3200 (11:00.03).
- Eric Moate (Spoto) was on fire in the 200 dash with a time of 21.93.
- Ryan Schnulle (Charlotte) won a tight one in the 800m over Jonathan Moore (Tampa) with times of 1:55.35 to 1:55.90.
Bob Hayes Invitational, FL

Highlights
- Artie Burns flexed his muscle big time by laying the hammer down in both hurdles. He put up a 13.35 meet record and US #1 time in the 110 Hurdles, which came going into a -1.4 headwind and followed another sub 14 performance in the prelims. That wasn't enough though for the Miami Northwestern junior, he answered that by laying waste to the talented field again with a 36.14 in the 300 Intermediates.
- Robin Reynolds - US #1 400m 53.28, 24.16 into strong wind in 200, big 19-7.5 long jump!
- Arman Hall takes 200 and 400 with 46.66 and 21.12.
- Kendal Williams, only a sophomore, wacks a 10.55 in the 100 meters into a -1.5 wind and places second in 200m with 21.41, behind Hall.
Texas Southern Relays, TX
Highlights
- DeSoto (TX) won the boys 4x200 meter relay in 1:24.99 and the boys 4x400 meter relay with a time of 3:16.44.
- Lancaster (TX) girls won the 4x100 in 46.80 and won the 4x200 and 4x400 as well with times of 1:37.55 and 3:52.91.
- Galena Park North Shore (TX) boys narrowly took down DeSoto in the 4x100 relay with times of 41.27 to 41.29.
- Alex Austin (San Marcos) leapt to a US#1 clearance of 7-1 in the boys high jump.
- Tyrone Jackson (Houston Bellaire) won the boys 800 meter run with a quick time of 1:53.93.
- Raevyn Rogers (Kinkaid School), only a sophomore, won the girls 800 with a time of 2:11.98.
2012 Coaches Invitational, GA
Highlights
- Stefanie Kurgatt (Mcclay School) won the girls 1600 meter run with a big time of 4:49.62, winning by 17 seconds.
- Kendell Williams (Kell) won the 110 hurdles with a time of 13.57
- McEachern won the girls 4x400 relay with a time of 3:50.24.
- Avana Story, the indoor WT champ, won the shot put with a put of 42-03.50.
- Levonte Whitfield (Jones) won the boys 100m with a time of 10.59.
- Foot Locker finalist Josh Brickell (Peachtree Ridge) won the boys 1600 with a time of 4:16.13.
- Brookwood won a very fast 4x400 relay in 3:17.58 over McEachern, 3:19.02 and Grayson, 3:19.29.
Redondo Nike Invitational, CA
Highlights
- Loyola (CA) won the boys 4x800 with a quick US#1 clocking of 7:53.33.
- Khalfani Muhammad (Notre Dame) won the boys 100m in 10.69.
Indoor still a factor
Ohio Indoor State Championships, OH
Highlights
- Donovan Robertson (Berea), the National Record Holder in the 60H, set the state record in the prelims with a time of 7.67 then won the final in 7.88.
- Jacob Blankenship (Gahanna Lincoln) won the pole vault with a state record mark of 17-06.50.
- Tsehaye Hiluf (Reynoldsburg) won the boys 3200m with a state record clocking of 9:07.51.
- Anthony Young (St. Edward) won a very close 200m over Shelton Gibson (Cleveland Heights) in 21.34 to 21.35.
- Brandon Kidder (Lancaster) won the 800m in 1:55.71 and the 1600m in 4:15.69.
Big 12 Indoor Meet, IL
Highlights
- Brittany Hull (Normal Community) won the girls pole vault with a US#1 leap of 13-00.25!
