Boys Rankings
The US#1 slot continues to be held by Edward Cheserek (St. Benedict's Prep, NJ). Cheserek is quickly becoming a HS XC legend as he set his third course record in as many weeks. On an atypically hot October day he shattered Joe Rosa's Vanny (NY) course record with a time of 11:55.4 for the 4000 meter layout at the Manhattan Invite. Jake Leingang (ND) continues his midwestern tear as he moves into US#5 with a 15:50 clocking to win by 50 seconds, which is becoming a standard margin of victory for Jake. CJ Albertson (CA) won impressively at the Asics Clovis Invite as Bryan Guijarro (CA) moved in at US#14 as a result of upsetting Dallin Farnsworth at Clovis. Josh Brickell (GA) makes his first appearance in the rankings with an impressive string of performances. Josh won the flrunners.com invite with a time of 15:02 and then ran 14:59 last weekend as the Asics Invite back home in GA. Also making the list for the first time of the year is Connor Rog (CT) who blasted a 15:41 to win the Wickham Invite in CT. Full updates on each athletes recent accomplishments are below.
