Harrier #1 Fayettville-Manlius won the girls eastern race with 32 points, looking as dominate as ever, while Harrier #10 Tatnall finished 2nd with 80 points to upset Harrier #3 Great Oak, 3rd with 90 points. Pennsbury finished 9th with 3 of their top 5 girls not racing due to the S.A.T.'s
US#6 Jim Rosa won the boys Eastern States race in 12:28 over fellow NJ runner Edward Cheserek, who ran 12:34 in a rapidly improving season. US#1 Aisling Cuffe, Cornwall NY, misses the course record by 2 seconds finishing in 13:57. The course recored was previously set by Carley Seymour, PA in 13:55.27.
Shaker boys upset big names in the Eastern States boys race with 102 points over Christian Brothers Academy (2nd with 144) and Fayettville-Manlius(3rd with 168).
Nike South Invitational, TX - Craig Lutz Interview | Rachel Johnson Interview | Boys Elite Race Finish | Girls Elite Race Finish | More Videos Here | Photos | On-site coverage by TXRunning.com | US#5 Craig Lutz, went on a tear, pushing out a 4:40 first mile and finishing in 14:55.50 to break his course record. US#13 Rachel Johnson began her season with a convincing win in the girls race with a time of 17:27.60. Harrier #9 Southlake Carroll rolled in the boys team race with a one point victory over Harrier #12 The Woodlands, and that was with The Woodlands missing two of their top runners. Nike Northside-Southside Challenge, IL - US#6 Lukas Verzbicas, Sandburg IL, cruised to an easy victory on the last 2.62 miles of the Chicago Marathon course, winning by 46 seconds with a time of 12:24. The time was an average of 4:44 per mile, so it is safe to say that Lukas is getting stronger and will make his presence felt during the post-season. Results
Suffolk Officials Invite, NY - US#2 Megan Venables shattered her meet record on the Sunken Meadow Park layout with a winning time of 18:25.40 over US#16 Kelsey Margey, who finished 2nd in 18:43.65 after tripping up with 100 meters to go. Full recap here.
Wisconsin Lutheran Invitational, WI - Molly Seidel, University Lake, shredded McCarty Park with a 13:44.4 clocking over 4000 meters, winning with a margin of 1:13!
Father Rudy Invitational, OH - Emma Brink, Sacred Heart Academy, won the girls varsity race with a time of 18:05.90, by a margin of 24 seconds.
FSU Invitational, FL - Photos | Meet Summary | Julie Woolrath, Holy Trinity, won the girls Varsity race with a course record time of 17:49.60 over Kacy Smith, Estero, who was 2nd in 17:57.02. The team race went the other direction as Estero defeated Holy Trinity 43 to 53. Max Del Monte, Chamberlain, won a close battle over Eduardo Garcia, Mandarin, 15:36.78 to 15:39.80. Estero won a tight boys team battle over Holy Trinity, 62 to 67.
SMAA Meet, ME - US#12 Abbey Leonardi, Kennebunk, rolled to another dominating victory, running 17:54 to win by 1:11 over her nearest competitor.

Baylor School won girls race with a shocking 47 points (2-5-9-10-21) over Dr. Phillips FL with 111 led by Bridget Blake's 3rd place finish (18:54). Bowling Green KY 3rd overall with 121 behind 3 in the top 15. (8-11-13-23-66).
Carmen Carlos, (photo below in black) McGill Toolen Catholic, won with a time of 18:30 over Hannah Jumper, (photo below in red) The Baylor School, 18:38, and Bridget Blake, Dr. Phillips, 18:54, was third.
Brentwood TN boys finish well to pull away from Morristown-West TN. Brentwood finished 2-5-6-14 in the team scoring and scored 56 ahead of MTown-West's 71. Mountain Brook boys were 3rd with 103.
Adam Jones, (photo below) Columbus HS, 16:31 won the boys race over Paul Stuart, Brentwood, 16:33, and Brandon Hazouri, Spain Park, 16:38.

Bay State Invitational, MA - Steve Sollowin, Weymouth MA, won the boys Division 1 varsity race with a time of 15:47.9 while Maggie Mullins, Andover MA, won the girs Division 1 race with a time of 18:43.7.
Wickham Park XC Invite, CT - US#22 Lindsay Crevoiserat, Glastonbury, ran away with the girls Championship race with a time of 18:23. Connor Rog, Fairfield Prep, won the boys Championship race with a time of 15:49.
Disney World Classic, FL - Miles Schoedler (Sr., Ocean City) won the elite varsity race in 15:34.80 with a 20 second lead over 2nd place junior Ryan Gousse (Trinity Prep). Sophomore Molly Foster (Science Hall) won the girls Elite race in 18:33.60. Results
Asics Clovis Invitational, CA - US#3 Ammar Moussa (14:51) and teammate US#24 Sergio Gonzales (15:10) led Arcadia to a win at the Asics Clovis Invite. Lane Wherly finished second behind Moussa in 14:54. Arcadia's US#8 Catrina McAlister continues her winning streak as she breezed to an easy finish in the girls varsity race. Results
Doug Conley Invitational, AZ - Will Firth (Sr., Brophy Prep) moved ahead of Alejandro Valencia (Rico Rico) with 800 to go to win the 38th annual Doug Conley Invitational. Rolonda Jumbo (Jr., Chinle) and Aeoleone Bristow (Sr., Rio Rico) were shoulder to shoulder as they came into the finish chute, with Jumbo moving ahead to beat Bristow by 2 seconds. Portage Invitational, MI - Boys: Caleb Rhynard, Sheperd MI, won the Division 3 boys race with the fastest time of the day, a clocking of 15:14.7. Omar Kaddurah, Grand Blanc MI, scored a narrow victory over Austin Whitelaw, Monroe MI, 15:33.7 to 15:36.1 in the Division 1 boys race. August Pappas, Chelsea, won the boys Division 2 race with a time of 15:34.4 over Alex Standiford, Mattawan, 15:35.7. Kyle Tait, Big Rapids Crossroad, won the boys Division 4 race with a time of 15:37.1. Girls: Gabrielle Anzalone, Grand Blanc MI, was swift on the course, winning the Division 1 girls race by 1:10 with a time of 17:41.1. The time was also the fastest on the day by 21 seconds. In Division 3 Ali Wiersma, Allendale, won with a time of 18:02.5. Waverly Neer, Culver Academies, took the Division 2 race with a time of 18:11.7. In Division 4 Alexa Rumsey, Hesperia, won with a time of 18:34.1.
McCallie XC Invitational, TN - Adrian Etheridge (Oak Ridge) won the girls varsity race in 19:10.69 over Webb School of Knoxville Natalie Ritchie (19:17.45). Jake Wildenmann (Trinity) won the boys race in 15:41.06 over Michael Peters (Montgomery Bell Academy). Peters had a time of 15:48.61 and led his team to the title with two teammates following him into the shute in 3rd (Daniel Peters) and 4th (Ryan Hill).
4 Runners Only Invite, NC - Results | Photos | Samantha George, Millbrook NC breezed to an easy finish in the 5K Championship race with a time of 17:55.53 and a 32 second lead over 2nd place. Ardrey Kell High School won the team title (57 pts) by one point over Green Hope (58 pts). Ryan Walling, Green Hope, won the boys Championship race with a time of 15:57.05.
Metropolitan Interscholastic Conference, IN - US#1 Futsum Zeinasellassie rolled past US#10 Chris Walden and US#11 John Mascari to win with a time of 15:08.2. Walden was 2nd in 15:10.1 and Mascari was 3rd in 15:10.8.
Victoria Lions Invitational, MN - Harrier #17 Wayzata, MN, scored a convincing victory over Eden Prairie, 66 to 80. Aaron Bartnik led the way for Eden Prairie with a winning time of 15:13.1 over Cole O'Brien, Burnsville, 15:14.4. The Eden Prairie girls won convincingly as well with a score of 47 points. Maria Hauger, Shakopee, won individually with a time of 14:28.3.
