CT Open State Champs: Lindsay Crevoiserat, Glastonbury, set two meet records with a 4:50.00 1600 and a 10:37.83 3200. Chris FitzSimons, Hamden, won the 800 in 1:52.61. Hamden also won the 4x800 with a time of 7:51.32.
RI State Champs: State Meet Recap | Nick Ross, East Greenwich, rolled to a 3:52.67 in the 1500 meter run, besting Andrew Springer's meet record of 3:54.02 in 2009. Nick also won the 800 in 1:54.40. Angie Quiah, Hope, impressively tripled in the 100 (12.12), the 200 (25.22), and the 40 (56.70). Jake Sienko, Bishop Hendricken, won the boys 3000 in 8:39.71. Royal Cheatham, Hope, won the girls long jump in 18-09.00. Craig Amado, Central, won the boys triple jump in 49-00.50. Full results coming soon.
WI State Champs: Div 1 - Taylor Wardall, Appleton, won the 1600 in 4:10.62 and was 2nd in the 800 in 1:52.78. Gabe Genovesi, Homestead, won the 800 in 1:51.55. Homestead won the boys 4x800 in 7:46.82 to lead 8 teams under 8:00. Mike Hardy, Kimberly, won the boys shot with a heave of 60-06. Div 2 - Matt McKenna, Madison Edgewood, won the 1600 in 4:12.12 and the 3200 in 9:13.48. Div 3 - John McCann, New Lisbon, won the boy high jump with a leadp of 6-10. Boys & girls results up.
CA State Champs: Full Results | SATURDAY COVERAGE: Serra follows up their US#3 AT (3:08.42) yesterday with the win today in 3:08.72! Long Beach Poly girls roll to a US#1 and US#22 All-Time 3:39.15 to win the 4x400 over Serra, 3:42.36!! STELLAR 300 hurdles with Kori Carter, Claremont, running US#6 All-Time with a time of 40.44 to narrowly defeat Thandi Stewart, James Logan, 40.45 for #7 All-Time!! Ashton Purvis, St. Elizabeth, keeps the fast times rolling with an eye-popping US#7 All-Time run of 11.17(w2.0) in the 100 dash and a US#9 All-Time clocking of 22.90 in the 200 dash. US#8 All-Time 1:48.20 for Sean Krinik, Valencia, in the boys 800 for US#1! Greg Dotson, Burbank, was 2nd in 1:49.40. Josh Mance, Don Lugo, became the first under 46 with his US#1 time of 45.90. Robert Woods, Serra, was 2nd in 46.21. Frosh Chimere Ezumah, Serra, rolled to a US#2 time of 52.97 in the 400 dash. 5 were under 54. Amy Weissenbach, Harvard Westlake, won the 800 with a US#3 2:07.52 while Savannah Camacho, Templeton, was 2nd in a US#4 time of 2:07.73. Big win for Willy Irwin, Clovis East, in the discus with a toss of 207-08 (US#1 208-10 in prelims yesterday)! Eight under 9:00 in the boys 3200, led by Sam Pons, South Pasadena, in 8:55.40. Weston Strum was 2nd in 8:56.42 and Ammar Moussa, Arcadia, was 3rd in 8:57.82. Jenna Prandini, Clovis, added the triple jump to her LJ win and 100 runner-up with a 42-07.25(w2.2). Ciarra Brewer, James Logan, was 2nd in 41-01.25(w2.2).
Scott Cook, Mater Dei, won the boys pole vault with a mark of 16-03. Molly Grabill, Rancho Bernardo, won the girls 3200 run in 10:20.25. RJ Frasier, Jesuit, won the boys 300 hurdles with a time of 36.90. Niko De Martino, Oaks Christian, won the boys long jump in 23-10.50. Tyler Jordan, Ramona, won the boys high jump with a leap of 6-11. Jasmine Burrell, North Torrance, won the girls shot put with a mark of 47-06.50. Remontay McClain, Covina, won a VERY tight 100 dash over George Farmer, Serra, with both timed in 10.45 (10.448 to 10.449) and came back in the 200 to win with a time of 20.85. Jonathan Cabral, Agoura, blew away the field in the 110 hurdles with a winning time of 13.54. Kortney Ross, Westview, moved up to US#3 with her winning pole vault height of 13-06, which also earns her #16 All-Time. Jovon Cunningham, Enterprise, won the boys triple jump with a monster US#5 50-08.25(w2.1) to lead three over 50'! Kori Carter, Claremont, and Trinity Wilson, St. Mary's, rocked the 100 hurdles with Kori winning 13.33 to 13.35(w2.5). The times are US#12-13 All-Time wind-aided. From a look at the results, Elias Gedyon, Loyola, won a very tactical 1600 in 4:21.12. Chloe Curtis, Redondo, got the 1600 title she was seeking, outlasting Alli Billmeyer 4:46.63 to 4:47.79. Rancho Verde won the girls 4x100 relay with a time of 45.74 over Long Beach Poly, 45.83. Long Beach Poly boys won a thriller over Rio Mesa in the boys 4x100 with a 41.13 to 41.15. Alex Collatz, Stockdale, won the girls discus with a heave of 170-09. Jenna Prandini, Clovis, won the girls long jump with a 20-05.75(w3.2). Lydia French, Thousand Oaks, won the girls high jump with a leap of 5-10. Matt Darr, Frontier, won the boys shot with a put of 63-09.75. FRIDAY PRELIMS: Rio Mesa boys have the fastest 4x100 meter time of 41.10 heading into the finals tomorrow. There is less than a second separating the 8 qualifying teams. Erik Olson, Novato, has the fastest qualifying time in the 1600 meter run of 4:15.39 followed by Hugh Dowdy, Petaluma, with a 5:15.77 and Justin Vilhauer, Redwood, with at 5:15.97. The Long Beach Poly girls head into the finals with the fastest qualifying time in the 4x100 meter relay with a 45.67. Six girls break 14 seconds in the 100 hurdles with Trinity Wilson, St. Mary's College Prep, in the lead with 13.46. Jacque Taylor, Casa Grande, leads the girls 1600 meter run with a 4:59.20. Ashton Purvis, St. Elizabeth, has the fastest prelim time in the 100 meter dash with a US#1 time of 11.22 and an all time US#10. Purvis also smoked a 23.10(w2.5) in the 200 dash, setting up for quite a day tomorrow! Jenna Prandini, Clovis, took 2nd with a US#2 11.37 and Valexsia Droughn, Rio Mesa, finished 3rd with a US#3 11.47. Remontay McClain, Covina, leads the boys 100 meter dash with a US#4 (unaided) 10:35. George Framer, Serra, is 2nd with a US#10 10:40. McClain, also ran a 20.85 (w 3.5) in the 200 dash. Akawkaw Ndipagbor, Long Beach Poly, has the fastest 400 meter dash with 53.80. Robert Woods, Serra, leads the 400 meter dash with 47.01 with Josh Mance, Don Lugo, in 2nd with 47.36. Woods and Mance hold the top two places on the US leader board with a time of 46.17. Sophomore Amy Weissenbach, Harvard Westlake, and Paisley Pettway, Millikan, take the top two spots in the girls 800 meter run. Weissenbach won the event in 2:09.71 with Pettway finishing 2nd in 2:09.87. US#1 800 runner Sean Krinik, Valencia, leads the boys with 1:50.44. Eleven runners ran under 1:53 but only nine qualified for the finals. Kori Carter, Claremont, has the fastest time from the 300 hurdle prelims with a 41.21 and R.J. Frashier, Jesuit, leads the boys in the 300 hurdles with a 36.93.
In the field events Prandini jumped to a US #1 long jump of 20-07-75. Eleven girls qualified for the high jump, all jumping 5-6 and ten girls qualified for the pole vault with all ten jumping 11-9. Alex Collatz, Stockdale, threw the discus 163-02 for the lead going into the finals. Alex Morgan, Ventura, is 2nd with 156-02. Jovon Cunningham, Enterprise, jumped into the top spot in the state in the triple jump with a US #9 49-11.75. Willy Irwin, Clovis East, threw the discus to an amazing US#1 208-10. Irwin also has the best mark in the shot put with a 62-06.75. Johnny Carter, Ridgeview, heads into the finals with the best long jump mark of 23-7.50. Markita Hinton, Atascadero, leads in the girls shot put with a US#8 47-08.50.
In the last race of the night the Serra boys bettered their own US#1 time in the 4x400 meter relay by 2 seconds and garnered US#3 All-Time status as well. The time of 3:08.42 broke the 14 year old State Meet Record of 3:08.66 previously set by Muir (Pasadena) on June 1, 1996. The team is 1 second away from the all time high school record of 3:07.40.

Weinstock won the 100 meter dash, took 2nd in the long jump and 3rd in the shot put. Sydney Haase, Missouri, leads the girls in the decathlon with 1713 points. Anicka Newell, New Mexico, won the girls decathlon with 5015 points. Lindsay Vollmer, Missouri, won the girls heptathlon with 5133 points. Vollmer won the shot put and the Javelin, placed 2nd in the 100 meter hurdles and the 200 meter dash, 3rd in the long jump, 5th in the high jump and 9th in the 800 meter run. Evan Weinstock won the boys decathlon event with 6383. Weinstock won the 100 meter dash, finished 2nd in the long jump, the high jump, 110 hurdles and the 400 meter dash, 3rd in the shot put, 4th in the pole vault and 5th in the Javelin.
Saturday: Octavious Freeman went 11.11(w2.6) in the 100 dash and US#2 23.19 in the 200 dash. The time is US#3 All-Time for wind-aided 100's! Devin Bogert (photo above by Paul Everett), Texas, threw the Javelin 221-8.75 for the meet record and a US#5 mark. Micahaela Palu (already ranked US#2), Texas, jumped 5-10 in the high jump and sophomore Jasmine Todd (already ranked US#6), Arizona, jumped 19-9 in the long jump. Avione Allgood, Nevada, won the Javelin with a throw of 155-9 for a US#5. Foot Locker finalist (3rd) Wade Meddles, Nevada, doubled up on the wins in the 1500 meter run (4:02.80) and the 3200 meter run (9:25.61). PA Distance Festival: PTFCA Men's Athlete of the Year, Tom Mallon of Central Bucks South, comes very close to Vandegrift's record of 1:48.8h with an amazing 1:49.01 effort. NY Sections: NY Qualifiers article | Section 8 - Garden City girls rocketed to a US#1 and US#25 All-Time 8:58.08 for the 4x800 relay! Splits - Menges 2:08.5, O'Neill 2:15.8, Gallagher 2:13.4, Deangelo 2:19.7. Emily Lipari is through to states in the 3000 with a winning time of 9:44.77. Emily Menges, Garden City, rolled to an 800 best of 2:10.73 on the season, while teammate (and 7th grader) Emma Gallagher finished 2nd in 2:12.58 for a spot at states as well. Meet story. Section 9 - Aisling Cuffe, Cornwall, is through to states in 2 events, the 3000 in an easy 9:51.50 and then the 1500, in a US#3 4:30.23 battle over Lillian Greibesland, 4:31.39. Jennifer Mitchell, Newburgh, leapt to a 40-1.25 in the triple jump. Monroe-Woodbury boys surprised Newburgh in the 4x400 with a US#7 3:13.91 to a US#11 3:14.29. Monroe Splits - Justin McCollin 48.8, Daryll Subran 48.6, Brandon Arrington 49.3, Ryan Brennan 47.1. Newburgh splits - Jermain Mitchell 49.3, Shamel Williams 50.1, Fred Locklary 47.7, Randy Patterson 46.0. Section 3 - Liverpool boys rolled to a US#4 4x800 clocking of 7:43.62. Colin Savage and Zavon Watkins cruised in 800 qualifying with a pair of 1:56's. Mike Quercia, Marcellus, rolled in the div 2 800 with a time of 1:51.78. Shaun Thompson, Baldwinsville, clocked an impressive 9:31.59 for the 3000 steeplechase. Fayetteville-Manlius ran a solid 9:02.13 for the 4x800, a US#3 performance. Courtney Chapman, F-M, won the 1500 in 4:32.05. Ashley Palmer, Phoenix, went 18-9.5 and 37-4.25 in the long and triple jumps. Section 4 - Cal Michaels, Vestal, won the 3k steeplechase with a 9:31.94. Chad Noelle, Greene, won the 1600 with a time of 4:10.54.

Splits were: Brittney Jackson 55.5, Kelsey Jackson 57.1, Tyvonna Johnson 55.3, Kayann Richards 54.0. Jeremy Elkaim and Joe Rosa rolled to US#1-2 in the 3200 with Jeremy the victor 8:46.08 to 8:48.55! Unofficial splits were 68, 69, 67, 68, 66, 66, 64, 61!! Elkaims mark shatters Craig Forys 2007 meet record. Ajee Wilson smoked the 800 with a US#1 time of 2:04.94!! The time is a NJ State soph record, beating out 4-time Olympian Joetta Clark. The time also ties Tenn great Sarah Bowman for US#23 All-Time. Brittney Jackson was 2nd in 2:08.17 as 6 girls were under 2:10. Zamir Thomas won the boys 200 with a time of 21.19. Myasia Jacobs won gold #2 with a US#10 200 time of 23.73. Miles Shuler won the boys 100 dash with a US#8 time of 10.39, which is NJ#2 all time. Soph Myasia Jacobs got beat off the start in the 100 dash by English Gardner but got her at the line with a US#6 11.48 to 11.56. Jim Rosa, West Windsor Plainsboro North, tolerated the early pedestrain effort, as the field went 2:07-2:10 through 800, unleashing a 2:01 final 800 to win the 1600 in a US#3 4:07.89! Unofficial splits are 62, 64, 61, 60. Sam Macaluso, West Windsor Plainsboro South, was 2nd in 4:10.

Michelle Brown takes the girls 400 with a time of 55.52. Kaleb Zuidema won the boys javelin with a toss of 209-06. Corrine Kominkiewicz won the girls disc with a 138-05 heave. Devin Jones won the boys triple jump with a meet record mark of 49-11. Megan Venables won the girls 3200 with a time of 10:37.49. Sam Mattis won the boys discus with a toss of 185-1 over Nick Vena, 179-01. Fiona Palladino won the girls high jump with a US#5 5-10 effort to tie the meet record and outlast Emily Kianka, 5-8. Mariah Brown won the girls long jump with a mark of 19-01.50. Essence Mayers was 2nd in 18-11.25. Bennet Jackson won the 110 hurdles with a time of 13.75 with a huge margin of victory... 2nd was 14.27. Kayann Richards, Columbia, won the 100 hurdles with a time of 13.91. MI State Champs: Omar Kaddurah, Grand Blanc, won the boys 1600 in 4:07.67 while Megan Goethals, Rochester, took the girls crown in 4:47.37 Goethals also won the 3200 with a time of 10:22. Bedford won the boys 4x800 with a time of 7:43. Rochester girls won as well, in 9:05. Isaac Cox, East Kentwood, won the 800 dash with a time of 1:51.78.
OH State Champs: Heat sheets posted here | Live Twitter Updates | Chris Uhle won the pole vault with a state record leap of 16-09. Madeline Chambers won the girls 1600 in 4:47 while Colby Alexander wont the boys race in 4:09. Dustin Brode rocks the shot with a put of 71-07.50. VA State Champs: Coverage Central | AAA: Justin Hunter (photo left), Ocean Lakes, caught some air for a US#22 All-Time long jump of 25-08.75. He then went 50-8.25 in the triple jump. Hunter also won the high jump with a mark of 7-00. | AA: Kathleen Stevens beat sister Joanna 10:16.03 to 10:16.46 in the 3200 run. KY State Champs: Results - AAA - Live results - Butler broke the state record in the 4x800 with a time of 7:54.07. Kyle Jenkins won the boys discus with a toss of 193-01. Male boys won the 4x200 with a time of 1:26.43. CT Class Champs: Class LL - Lindsay Crevoiserat, Glastonbury, tripled and set two class records in the 800 (2:14.88) and the 1600 (4:57.88). Her 3200 winning time was 10:55.53. Chris FitzSimons, Hamden, took it easy, winning the 800 run in 1:54.63.
