Chris Solinsky has been training hard in recent months, but not even he thought that the time he ran was possible, calling the pace during the middle laps 'suicidal'. The effort proved to be less taxing, however, as Chris closed the last 800 meters in 1:56.2 to crush Meb Keflezighi's American Record time of 27:13.98.
