The match ups continued on the girls side in the Class 4A division, starting with the relays. In the 4x200m and the 4x400m relay, Windsor High School and Niwot High School battled it out, with Niwot High School pulling out the victory over Windsor High School in the 4x200m relay, running 1:38.86 versus 1:38.90. If that was not tight enough, the teams continued to battle in the 4x400m relay, where Windsor High School won over Niwot High School, running a time of 3:48.21 as opposed to 3:48.93. Windsor also earned a new 5A state meet record.
Speaking of Windsor High School, Kiana Cumings dominated in the sprints, winning the 200m and the 400m. Her time of 23.96 in the 200m was the first time Cumings was under 24 seconds. In the 400m, she ran a time of 54.92 to earn the state title.
