The records and fast times did not stop in the 4A and 5A divisions. In Class 3A, there were a handful of impressive performances, starting with Dylan Khailer of Kent Denver School. Khailer won the 200m and the 400m, while also placing 2nd in the 100m. However, his time of 47.57 in the 400m was one of the fastest times at the state meet for all classifications. Only 5A was faster.
In the 800m, Resurrection Christian swept the top of the podium, goin 1-2-3. The brother duo of Jackson Fagerlin and Lincoln Fagerlin ran 1:54 and 1:56 and their teammate, Trevor Lim also ran 1:56 to finish right behind Lincoln. Resurrection Christian also won the 4x800m relay with a time of 7:59 - the only team in 3A to break 8 minutes this season.
In the hurdles, some exciting occurrences took place. In the 110m hurdles, the race was between Solomon Morrell of Kent Denver School and Jayden Michaelis of Berthoud. Unfortunately, Michaelis hit a hurdle hard enough that it flew into another lane, imped...
