Highlighting athletes who have the potential to score in many different event groups can create the most interesting stories for the state meet. For Kent Denver School, they have Dylan Khailer, who is ranked well in the 100m, 200m, 400, and the 110m hurdles and considering how quick his 400m time is, he would definitely be ranked in the 300m hurdles if he chose to race that event as well. Khailer does have the top time in the 200m of 21.57 and in the 400m with a time of 48.30. It seems likely he will contest the 400m and the 200m considering the lead he has in both events, but what he chooses to do after is a mystery because of all of his options. We will have to wait until after the declarations.
In the distance events, we will see brothers Jackson Fagerlin and Lincoln Fagerlin of Resurrection Christian High School go at it as both of them have the top two times in the 800m and the 1600m. Jackson does have the experience...
