Unlike the boys, where the districts only produced one new top ranking, the girls had three new top performances. In the 200m, Patchnalie Compere of Northeast HS won the 200 at the 3A District 14 championships with a state leading 23.17, Miami Northwestern's Tyra Cox set a new state number one with a 52.18 400m in the 3A District 16 championship, and Mackenzie Roy of Spruce Creek HS ran a 10:15.77 3200m in the 4A District 2 championships to move to the top spot in the rankings.
