Avery Hartley of the No Excuses RC leads the middle school state rankings in the 1500m (4:47.08) and the 3000m (10:16.70).  She is the defending middle school state champion in the 3000. (9:59.65)

The FHSAA District Meets wrap up with several meets over the next couple of days. While we are waiting for those results, Florida's middle schoolers are waiting in the wings to showcase their talents. Florida is one of several states that permit middles school athletes to compete at the varsity level. This ranking is composed solely of middle school athletes that have competed in middle school events.
