Currently, The Classical Academy has a huge lead on Resurrection Christian High School, holding the lead by over 40 points. In some ways, it is hard to see how any team could close the gap, but let's take a closer look at some of the other teams.
For The Classical Academy, they have athletes scoring in a plethora of event groups including sprints, distance, jumps, throws, and in pole vault. Though one of their top performers in Heidi Nielsen has not raced since the first weekend of the season, the team still has plenty of other people to step up, including Reese Blackwood. She is only 2nd to Nielsen in the 100m and is ranked 3rd in the 200m.
On the distance side, Vivian Jack has the best rankings with the top time in the 1600m, the 2nd fastest time in the 800m, and the 3rd fastest time in the 3200m. Though racing all of those events will be taxing, as long as Jack can finish on the podium in these events, the team will be just fine.
