Plenty of new names cracked the national rankings after this past weekend and they brought some historic performances with them.

The National Performer of the Week poll will close at 5 p.m. CT on Thursday, April 10, and the winner will be announced shortly after.

Take a look at five of the top-performing girls from last weekend in outdoor track & field.

This Week's Nominees:

Dana Wilson, Greensboro Day School (N.C.): What can't she do? At the Pepsi Florida Relays, Dana Wilson swept the short sprints, winning both the 100m and 200m in personal best fashion. Running in the Olympic Development heats, Wilson clocked 11.09 and 22.45, shattering her previous outdoor bests of 11.23 and 23.12. Both wind-legal performances moved her up to No.5 on the all-time lists in both events. Both performances also inched her closer to Shawnti Jackson's state records.

Oluwatosin Awoleye, South Cobb (Ga.): Before she heads to the University of Southern California this fall, the mid-distance star is chasing history. At the 8th Annual GA Spring Break Showdown, Awoleye clocked 2:04.37 to move past Makenna Herbst's national lead of 2:04.72. Awoleye also lowered her state record by just under a second. The senior is a contender and more than likely the favorite every time she toes the line this spring and could be due for some record-breaking runs.

Brianna Rivers, Humble Summer Creek (Texas): At her final high school district meet, Oklahoma commit cleared 6-0 to jump into a tie for the national lead. Rivers added two inches to her personal best,  also the 25th Texan to ever clear 6-0, and is tied for the eighth-best performance in state history. As a junior, Rivers posted a record of 7-3, winning the UIL state title to cap off a fantastic junior season.

Mia Hoskins, Coventry (R.I.): The future Columbia Lion made her outdoor debut over the weekend, throwing the hammer at the Knights of Columbus Relays. Comfortably, Hoskins threw a lifetime best mark of 173-6, more than enough to finish atop the 41-person field. Her big-time PB also moved her up to No. 16 in state history and atop the 2025 national leaderboard, with nearly a five-foot gap on the closest thrower.

Valerie Hunt, Monahans (Texas): At the UIL 4A-District 03 meet, Hunt shot name towards the top of the national leaderboard, sitting No. 1 and No. 4 in the shot and disc. In the shot, Hunt notched a lifetime best of 51-4.25, enough to take the national lead. It wasn't a personal best, but Hunt launched the discus 146-6, the fifth-best mark in the nation. She also sits inside the top 100 in the pole vault, with a season-best of 12-0, which she cleared at the Liberty Patriot Relays in early March.
