Now that we are almost a month into the season, here are the top 100 boys in each event for the month of March.
Some highlights from each class include Class 1A's super start high jumper, Ethan Tesman, of Elbert High School, who jumped 6-5 so far this season and is tied for #3 in the state. The throws never seem to disappoint in the smaller classifications and Jackson Bevan of Plateau Valley is no exception. He has thrown 144-11 in the discus and 42-1.5 in the shot put, good enough for #9 and #58 in the state, respectively. The field events continue to produce some great marks in 1A with Anderson Weathers of Lone Star High School pole vaulting 13-3, good enough for #11 in the state. He also is ranked #42 in the 110m hurdles with a time of 16.09. Javin Summers of Swink High School also has a high ranking coming in at #26 in triple jump with a mark of 42-3.5.
