There's a chance that the Garner (N.C.) senior had the best weekend of anyone in Virginia Beach, as he won the 200m and led the Carolina Track Hawks to a third-place finish in the 4x200m and a national title in the 4x400m.
In the 200m, Harper broke the meet and high school facility record in the final, running a new PB of 20.94 for the win. A few minutes later, Harper anchored his team's 4x400m in 47.51, stopping the clock at 3:14.51, the No. 4 time in the U.S. this season.
Harper and company also finished third in the 4x200m, running 1:26.92 behind Bullis (Md.) and Louisville Xtreme (Ky.).
