The stars were out in full force over the weekend, as athletes shined at both New Balance Nationals Indoor and Nike Indoor Nationals. The most anticipated weekend of track and field exceeded any expectations, as the record books were re-written over and over.

The National Performer of the Week poll will close at 5 p.m. CT on Thursday, March 20, and the winner will be announced shortly after.

Take a look at five of the top-performing girls from last weekend.

This Week's Nominees:

Jane Hedengren, Timpview (Utah): Wow. One of the greatest runners in high school history strengthened her case as the G.O.A.T., adding a pair of national records to her resume at Nike Indoor Nationals.. On Friday, Hedengren shattered the 5000m record, running 15:13.26, lowering the record by 15 seconds. Hedengren also ran an unprecedented 4:26.14 in the Mile, breaking the previous record by over two seconds. Hedengren also broke the 3200m record this season as well.

Rylee Blade, Santiago Corona (Calif.): The second distance runner on this list was runner-up in the 5000m at NIN, as Blade ran 15:16.72, the second-fastest performance in high school history regardless of season. Blade also finished third in the Championship Mile in 4:42.74, and helped Santiago TC Corona hold off a strong field as they won in 11:37.35.

Dana Wilson, Greensboro (N.C.): Going undefeated over five races and winning two national titles along the way? Wilson couldn't have dreamed up a better weekend, as the senior swept the 60m and 200m, running a facility record in both events. Wilson clocked 7.16 in the 60m final before going on to run 22.81 in the 200m final. Wilson now sits No. 2 all-time in the 60m and No. 5 in the 200m.

This weekend Cooper became just the sixth-ever high schooler to run sub-23, running 22.64 to become the second-fastest high schooler ever. She also finished sixth in the 60m final in 7.40.

Samantha Ennin, North Texas Jackrabbits (Texas): One of the best horizontal jumpers in the nation, Ennin finished runner-up in the triple jump while snagging the long jump national title at NBNI. Ennin jumped 41-10.25 and 20-7.75, just shy of both of her state leads. All-time, Ennin sits at No. 2 and No. 6 in both jumps in Texas history.
