Zahria Bernard, Red Oak (TX): Bernard ran a U.S. #2 time of 11.47 in the 100m dash as a freshman at the Desoto Nike Invitational, now ranking only behind Mia Maxwell and her time of 11.40. She currently ranks as the #1 freshman nationally by 0.25 seconds and ranks 9th all-time for freshman girls for the 100m.
Max Douglass, Corona del Mar (CA): The Notre Dame commit became just the third boy this outdoor season to break the 9-minute barrier in the 3200m, running a 19-second PR for a time of 8:59.28 at the ASICS Laguna Beach Trophy Invitational. He ranks second nationally this season in the event.
Evah Elleby, Mansfield Lake Ridge (TX): Elleby set a huge PR in the 200m dash with the freshman setting a 0.26 second PR to break the 24 second barrier for the first time with a time of 23.83. This time ranks her 2nd nationally this season and she is just one of three girls under 24 seconds so far.
