Bullis Girls Topple 4x400m Indoor National Record

---

Bullis School made some more history in the girls' 4x400m relay at New Balance Nationals Indoor with a commanding victory, setting a new high school national record and meet record with a time of 3:35.54. This remarkable performance shattered the previous meet record of 3:38.18 and the national record of 3:37.63, both set by Montverde Academy in 2024.

Although Bullis trailed by a narrow margin after the first leg, they quickly took control of the race. Tatum Lynn led off with a solid 55.57, placing her team in second but only 0.4 seconds behind the leader. Kennedy Brown followed with an impressive 53.30, pushing Bullis into the lead by 1 second at the 800m mark. Morgan Rothwell extended the lead to 3 seconds with a strong 53.70 third leg, and Sydney Sutton, anchoring with the fastest split of 52.96, sealed the victory. By the time she crossed the finish line, Bullis had built a commanding 7-second advantage over the runner-up.
