The team, consisting of Anyla Robinson, Aurora Bertelsen Del Solar, Mackenzie Winning, and Danielle Graham, shattered the previous indoor record of 8:48.02, set by Cuthbertson High School in 2023.

Bertelsen Del Solar extended that lead to 9 seconds after the 1600-meter mark, and by the 2400-meter checkpoint, their lead had ballooned to almost 15 seconds. Graham's final leg sealed the win as they crossed the finish line 19 seconds ahead of the second-place team.
