Despite going up against some of the best athletes in the nation over the weekend, a few underclassmen thrived at some of the biggest meets of last weekend as they set PBs, broke all sorts of records and added their names to the all-time lists.

Check out the next four 'Future Stars' of the indoor season.

DASIA REED

Montverde Academy (Fla.)

Class of 2027

As a freshman, Reed didn't take long to introduce herself to her high school competition and is already off and running this winter. Her season debut came less than two weeks ago, but her recent performance at The Bama Showcase was superb. The sophomore finished fourth and runner-up in the 60m and 200m, clocking 7.48 (PB) and 23.69, respectively. Reed proved that she's a force to be reckoned with and that she has what it takes to be the next star of Montverde Academy.

CAMERON HOMER

Bullis School (Md.)

Class of 2027

One of the many Bullis athletes that had great showings at the New York International Showcase, Homer finished third in the 200m and won the 400m, running 21.65 and 48.07, putting him inside the top-35 in both events on the national leaderboard. Homer also established two PBs in the events, besting the times he set during his freshman outdoor season. Homer is the second-fastest sophomore in Maryland history in both the 200m and 400m, sitting behind current teammate and Olympian, Quincy Wilson. He is now the 20th and 12th fastest sophomore in American history over 200m and 400m.

Dewitt-Clinton (N.Y.)

Class of 2028

The freshman has already tallied 14 races across ten different distances this indoor season, and she's flexed an incredible amount of range for a young athlete. Last weekend, Wajid ran the 800m at the New York International Showcase, where she finished runner-up in 2:14.14, just three-tenths of a second behind the winner. Wajid was the top freshman in the field and the only one with a final time under 2:20. She is now the eighth-fastest freshman in New York history, and the 41st-fastest freshman in U.S. history and is one of the newest members of the sub-2:15 club, which few freshmen are members of.

KAMIL PELOVELLO

Servite (Calif.)

Class of 2028

For the second indoor race of his high school career, Pelovello made the trip to Lubbock, Texas from Anaheim, California, and had himself a day at the Wes Kittley High School Invitational. The freshman ran both the 60m and 200m, notching running 7.01 and 21.74, a new PB. Pelovello only needed one opportunity to break the California freshman state record in the longer of the two races and is already sitting at No. 9 in the all-time state record books. With over a month of racing left on deck, Pelovello is officially the No. 5 freshman in national history.
