Archbishop Carroll's boys track team delivered a historic performance at the 2025 VA Showcase, breaking their own national high school record in the 4x200-meter relay with a blazing time of 1:25.21. The quartet of Elijah Amenra, Niles Briggman, Keenen Davis, and Jake Odey-Jordan shaved 0.15 seconds off the previous record of 1:25.36, which had been set by Archbishop Carroll at the 2024 adidas Track Nationals.

Odey-Jordan, the lone returner from last season's record-breaking team, anchored the squad with a brilliant final leg of 21.02 seconds, showcasing his leadership and experience under pressure. Amenra, Briggman, and Davis complimented him with exceptional speed and flawless baton exchanges, culminating in a performance that left the crowd in awe.
This race also marked the first indoor competition in history to feature two teams running under 1:26 for the 4x200m relay. IMG Academy finished second in a remarkable 1:25.78, a time that now ranks as the fourth-fastest ever recorded.
