It's always interesting to look back and see how Florida runners have run in a particular race and how they stack up against some of the best in the state's history. Nike Southeast is over and we know how the Florida boys and girls ran. The focus is now on the Foot Locker South Regional Race. Foot Locker, as it's commonly known now, is the original national championship. It was originally called the Kinney Regionals and Nationals. Florida runners have historically run very fast on this course. However, it's important to note that a change was made to the course in 2015 and the current layout is about 20 seconds slower than the original. Most of the top performances are in our MileSplit database, but this meet is much older than MileSplit and it is older than the Internet. So, the vast majority of these performances are from the MileSplit era.
