Analysis: With the fastest returner in Utah gearing up for his senior campaign, Kyle Steadman and his Mountain View teammates are set to make quite a bit of noise over the next few months. Last October, the Bruins won a tiebreaker over in-state foe Orem to hoist the Utah 4A state championship trophy.
Mike Strauss' group brings back four out of their top five runners from their championship-winning team and looks to be the biggest in-state threat to Herriman, the defending NXN team champions. The reigning champs are already off and running this season after winning a pre-region meet over six other schools, including 2023 runner-up Orem.
