Analysis: As the top dogs of Idaho, the Vikings simply have it all. If you wanted a low-stick frontrunner, you get three of them in Lachlan May, Max Cervi-Skinner and Jacob King, a trio that has run 15:00, 15:02 and 15:13, respectively. If you wanted an elite split between your five scoring runners, the 45 seconds it takes for all five to cross the line will surely suffice. If it's the depth you're after, having all seven runners at 16:02 or faster should be enough to make you happy.
For the entire 2024 season, this group is going to have everyone they race trying to be the team that takes them down. As the defending Idaho 5A champions and the defending NXR Northwest champions, there are teams from all over that are gunning to be the ones to pull off the upset.
