2023 Notable Finishes: Fifth Place at NXR Northwest, 32nd Place at NXN, Runner-Up in Mile at Nike Indoor Nationals, Fifth Place in Two-Mile at Nike Indoor Nationals, Oregon 6A State Champion in 3000m, Third Place in 1500m at Oregon 6A State Championships.
Analysis: After winning a few state titles while living and competing in Nevada, Huyler's first year in Oregon came and went as she quickly became one of the top dogs in the Pacific Northwest.
Last fall, Huyler finished second at the Rose City Championship Invitational in a new personal best of 17:00.3. The former Nevada star went on to qualify for her first-ever Nike Cross Nationals where she finished 32nd in a star-studded field.
On the track, Huyler won her first state title in a Lakeridge singlet, winning the 3000m at the OSAA 6A State Championships in 9:33.15, the No. 7 time in Oregon history.
The incoming senior also finished third in the 1500m at state, running 4:29.14.
