Analysis: Prodoehl's junior season was one for the history books, as the Ohio standout stayed perfect throughout her cross-country season, winning all 11 races.
Prodoehl ran slower than 17:30 on just two occasions, and even broke 17:00 at the GMC Cross Country Championships, crossing in 16:59.1.
After winning her first OHSAA state title last November, Prodoehl sought out one final challenge before she switched gears to track, heading south to Huntsville, AL for the RunningLane Cross Country Championships.
On a rain-soaked course and tough conditions, Prodoehl prevailed, winning a national title in 17:32.8, taking down the field by eight seconds.
She only raced a few times this past spring, running 5:10 and 11:15 in the 1600m and 3200m.
