Analysis: Hagen had a relatively busy fall slate of racing last year, running 10 races and winning six of them, as well as two more runner-up finishes.
She finished runner-up at the 4A cross country championships behind Addy Ritzenhein, eventually working her way to a 10th-place finish at NXN. Hagen didn't quite match her lifetime best, but still ran 16:55.1 in a runner-up finish at the Liberty Bell Invitational to mark another season under 17:00.
Hagen also picked up a big-time win at Roy Griak, once again showcasing her ability to race and win at the top level.
The avid trail runner and cross-country skier is back again for the final lap of her high school career, and big things are coming.
