Analysis: In her debut season at the high school level, Isabella Keller simply dominated, winning a pair of state titles as she introduced herself to the state of Illinois.
Keller went undefeated throughout her in-state season, winning all seven races, including the Illinois 1A Cross Country State Title in 16:26.13, the fastest time in the state last season.
The freshman went on to place third and eighth at the NXR Midwest Regional and Nike Cross Nationals, as she was the second youngest finisher in the top ten.
This past spring, Keller broke 5:00 in the 1600m on five different occasions and clocked 10:16.02 over 3200m to win her first state title on the track. She finished runner-up in the 1600m at the state championships.
