Analysis: For the last three years, CIF Division 3 has been ran by Hanne Thomsen. The future Stanford Cardinal has won back-to-back-to-back cross-country state titles.
In December, Thomsen finished 24th at Nike Cross Nationals, her second consecutive year in the top 25 finishers.
A few months ago Thomsen finished runner-up in the 3200m at the CIF State Championships in a season's best time of 9:59.81 and followed that up with a third-place finish in the two-mile at New Balance Nationals Outdoor.
