It's back-to-school season here, which means cross country season is heading our way.

With the Class of 2024 going into their first year as collegiate athletes, there's room for incoming seniors to take over high school cross country rankings.

Luckily for Evan Noonan and Sadie Engelhardt, they return to the 3 mile just how they left it: As the No. 1 leaders for high school boys in girls.

Evan Noonan was the only Class of 2025 athlete to break 14 minutes for three miles last year. The Dana Hills incoming senior went 13:39.00 at the South Coast League Finals.
As for Sadie Engelhardt, the 2023 cross country season was just the beginning of a huge year for her. Engelhardt was named Gatorade's Best Female Player of the Year, COROS MileSplit50 2024 Athlete of the Year, committed to NC State and she placed 12th in her heat of the 1...
