GREENSBORO -- Sometimes, a championship final doesn't shake out until the very last moments.
And that certainly happened on Friday in the girls 200 meter 17-18 year-old final at the AAU Junior Olympic Games at Truist Stadium.
Kymora-Lee Williams, a rising senior at John Overton High School, began pulling away with 30 meters remaining, holding off the hard-charges of Maira Scott and Maya Love, to win in 23.53 seconds.
Scott, a University of Southern California signee and Holland Springfield (OH) graduate, followed in 23.74 while Love, a rising senior at Independence High School in North Carolina, was third in 23.75.
