GREENSBORO -- Olivia Pace was moving on Thursday.
The 18-year-old University of Southern California signee and Ohio Heat athlete clocked a new AAU national record at 100 meters on Thursday at the AAU Junior Olympic Games, clocking a time of 11.36 (+0.7) over her semifinal race inside Truist Stadium on the campus of North Carolina A&T.
Pace goes into the 100m final as the prohibitive favorite, though she will face Kymora-Lee Williams (11.41), Jasmine Cook (11.66) and Danielle Dunning (11.74).
Pace looks to be well on her way.
