The Top 500 Incoming Freshmen Girls This Fall In XC

With the high school outdoor track and field season now over, cross country will soon be in our sights. 

This fall will have plenty of rising stars, especially in the incoming freshmen class. 

Take Gianna Rahmer, for instance.

The incoming freshman at Eldorado High School placed first at the New Mexico State Championships last fall, clocking a time of 16:58.01 for 5,000 meters. Later, she won an NXR Southwest title and then was an All-American at Nike Cross Nationals, placing sixth.

Behind Rahmer in the rankings is Elin Latta. The San Antonio-based runner won the community race at NXR South last November with a time of 17:24.90.
