Sadie Engelhardt and Elizabeth Leachman are leading the competition, and their impressive performances have not gone unnoticed.
Engelhardt, who is ranked first on this combined list, is still in high school and breaking national records. Just last week at the Hoka Festival of Miles, her previous national record was broken by Allie Zealand, only for Engelhardt to reclaim it immediately afterward.
Leachman, who is entering her junior year in high school, holds state records in both the 1,600m and 3,200m.
