As we inch closer to post-season competition, the best performances may still be right around the corner. When looking at the short sprints such as the 100m and 200m, we have seen some extreme speed thus far.
But who's the fastest combined sprinter between those two distances?
Right now, it's Humble Atascocita (TX) senior Jelani Watkins.
With current wind-legal marks of 10.22 in the 100m and 20.75 in the 200m, the LSU signee lands on top with a combined time of 30.97 seconds. He's the only athlete on the list under the 31-second barrier.
