Just under a year ago on a rain-soaked track at the University of Penn's Franklin Field, the Championship of America boys 4x100m lived up to the hype.
Archbishop Carroll (DC) and IMG Academy (FL) were the two lone American teams in the race and it was Archbishop Carroll star Nyckoles Harbor who was set to bring it home for the Lions.
After getting the baton, Harbor still had a little bit of ground to make up, but to no one's surprise, he quickly surged toward the front and put himself in prime position.
Successfully pulling away from Camperdown (JAM) and Kingston College (JAM) who finished in fourth and fifth, Harbor was oh-so-close to edging out St. Elizabeth Technical (JAM), but ultimately had to settle for a third in 41.19.
Jamaica College (JAM) pulled away down the final stretch, breaking the tape in 40.97.
Though he didn't get the win, Harbor propelled his squad to the top American finish.
