In just under a month, the Penn Relays Carnival will bring in thousands of athletes and fans for three days of high-stakes track and field in Philadelphia. 

In years past, the grand finale of the meet -- the 4x400m -- has provided exhilarating head-to-head battles which often end up being the best events of the weekend.
