It's not even April and thousands of athletes have already kicked off their outdoor season.
From Florida to California, athletes all over the country are starting to see just how well they actually trained during the winter.
Hundreds of 400m runners have already begun reaping the rewards of their hard work put in during the offseason, as many of them have set new personal bests very early on in the season.
Out of Lake Dallas High School (TX), junior Marisa Hughes has already taken off over 14 seconds from her sophomore time. Entering the 2024 season, Hughes had never dipped below 1:17, and in her 2024 debut she clocked an amazing 1:02.60, improving by a whopping 14.68 seconds.
Serrano's (CA) Haley Pratt has seen the next best improvement this season, improving from 1:12.54 to 59.14, over 13 seconds fast...
