Just as they are today, the 2022 Adidas Track Nationals were held at the Virginia Beach Sports Center in Virginia Beach.
Looking back to the middle school boys 400m, we saw the current No.1 individually ranked track athlete, Quincy Wilson, throw down a U.S. No. 1 of 48.81 in the 400m for the middle school rankings.
This also would have ranked him in the top 50 in the country at the high school level ... as an eighth-grader.
Wilson expressed in his post-race interview that "it feels great to lead in anyways."
His statement and excitement seem to hold true as the Bullis School sprint star continues to lead the way this season. Check out the race above.
