After a breakout performance at the PTFCA State Championships, Harriton's (PA) Ade Lloyd was crowned as our National Performer of the Week presented by Firefly.

Lloyd entered 2024 with an indoor PB of 50.34, but he lowered it to 47.41 by the indoor state championships. In the final, Lloyd wowed with a winning run over Institute Charter's (PA) Jayden Horton-Mims, who was the clear-cut favorite heading into the meet.

The high school junior now sits at No. 6 in the country and is the second-fastest in the nation in the class of 2025.

Jamier Averette-Brown, Wayne (OH): What. A. Race. Despite being one of two freshmen in the 60m final at the OATCC DI Indoor State Championships, Averette-Brown set a new freshman class record of 6.75 to win gold. He also took down LaSalle's Koy Beasley, who was the fifth-fastest athlete in the country. This is the first state title for Averette-Brown and it won't be his last.

Luke Pash, Ridgewood (NJ): The New Jersey athlete became just the fourth high schooler to go sub-9 this year in the 3,200m, squeaking under in 8:59.77. Pash did so at the NJSIAA Meet of Champions, earning his first-ever title at the meet. It converts to 9:02.9 for two miles, which would rank him No. 11 in the country.

Khalil Antoine, Hillhouse (CT): Antoine's season just keeps getting better and better. The senior high jumper picked up his ninth win in the event, this time marking his first clearance over 7-0 and earning a new PB of 7-0.25. Antoine is now tied for the best mark in the country and is one of three athletes over 7-0.

Joshua Huisman, St. Rose (NJ): It's been 12 competitions and 12 wins for the University of Michigan recruit. Over the weekend, Huisman defended his 2023 title in the shot put, this time with a new PB of 67-7. Huisman now just sits four inches out of the top spot in the country, and is the 24th best high school shot putter in history.

Dai'Vontay Young, Dunbar (OH): In his final OATCC D2/D3 Indoor State Championships, Young clocked 7.72 in the 60mH, winning his second straight state title. Young set a new PB of 7.9 in the prelims before moving up to the third-fastest sprinter in the country in the final. Young also is now tied for the 16th-fastest time ever run by a high schooler.

Jelani Watkins, Atascocita (TX): 10.22. Watkins ran a wind-legal 10.22 seconds at 100 meters on Saturday at the Texas A&M Bluebonnet Invitational. According to our records, that's the fastest any high schooler has ever run that distance in the month of March. He also anchored the team's winning 4x200 relay.

Jayden Keys, Katy Tompkins (TX): Keys had himself a weekend, competing in prelims and finals of the 110mH and 300mH, the finals of the long jump and the finals of the 4x100. He ended up winning three of those events, only coming up short in the 110mH by less than two-tenths of a second.
