The NCAA season concludes next week with the national championships from March 7-9 at the TRACK at New Balance in Boston.

For the most part, juniors and seniors are expected to dominate, as was the case at last weekend's conference championship meets. Still, there are exceptions.

Below, we examine five true freshmen women who excelled at the conference. The list only includes women who competed at the high school level in the U.S. and were part of the high school Class of 2023. It does not include athletes from other countries.
