After opening up her season at the JSerra Invitational on Feb. 17, JSerra Catholic (CA) junior Anne Elise Packard ran into the season with a U.S. No. 4 mark of 4:56.64 over the 1,600m distance.
With a season-opening time only three seconds off her personal best, it seems Packard is setting herself up for another successful season. For her effort, she garnered over 2,000 votes and 59-percent of the voting during Week 6 of the National Performer of the Week presented by Firefly poll, winning by a landslide.
