A U.S. No. 1 Pole Vaulter Will Take Center Stage

Samuel Abati is already off to a high start in the pole vault.
Last year, he finished with a best of 16-4.75, which put him at U.S. No. 33.
After he won the Area meet with his best jump of the year, he finished second at the UIL Outdoor Track and Field Championships.
To kick off the 2024 season, the senior from San Antonio has already set a lifetime bet of 17-1. His performance currently stands as the best in the country by five inches.
