- - -
After coming so close this season, Bradley Franklin finally worked his way up to the No. 1 spot in the 60mH.
The Samford commit clocked a time of 7.62 seconds at the AHSAA Indoor Championships on Saturday, picking up his fourth state title.
This season, Franklin has ran under 7.70 four different times and he's one of just two athletes do it at all.
Franklin also finished second and seventh in the 60m and long jump over the weekend, accounting for 20 of the 26 points his team scored.
Additionally, he now sits No. 2 all-time in state history, behind World Championship silver medalist Trey Cunningham and All-Pro NFL cornerback Marlon Humphrey.
