New Balance Grand Prix Results
It had only been 247 days since the last time we saw a high schooler join the sub-four club, and that was just too long for JoJo Jourdon.
The Nike Cross Nationals champion had the best debut race he could have asked for, becoming the 21st American high schooler to accomplish the feat.
Crossing in 3:59.87, Jourdon closed in a blistering 58.87, besting the international high school boys field.
He now sits atop the national leaderboard just over a month into the year.
