It's still early in the indoor track season, but some athletes have shown they are already near top form. This past weekend, many of the U.S.'s top track stars competed at the VA Showcase.
Below, we look at five boys (in alphabetical order) in the Classes of 2025 and 2026 who excelled at the meet and helped their college recruiting profiles.

At The VA Showcase, Boone showed his mid-distance chops, winning the 1,000m in 2:28.74. That is the U.S. No. 1 time and the sixth-fastest time for a sophomore in the event since MileSplit began tracking data in 2000.
