The short hurdlers are stacked with talent going into the 2024 indoor season.

Last year, five girls broke 8 seconds in the 55mH and eight of them broke 8.50 in the 60mH.

As a sophomore, Aleesa Samuel clocked 8.27 in the 60mH to claim the New Balance Nationals Indoor title. As she enters her junior season, Samuel is the top returner with her championship performance. However, Samuel can't miss a beat as Skyye Lee, who will be a senior this winter, finished second at New Balance Nationals Indoor with an 8.29.

These aren't the only two competitors who have the opportunity to grab championship titles later this year.
