During the first weekend of November, Avery Lewis took an official visit to the University of Southern California.

Lewis, a suburban Philadelphia resident and an elite sprinter and long jumper, had traveled to many states for track meets. Still, that was the first time she had been to California. 

Now, it won't be her last. 

Lewis, a senior at Friends' Central (PA) and MileSplit's No. 6 girls recruit in the Class of 2024, signed last week with the Trojans, making an already loaded recruiting class even better. 

USC was the final official visit Lewis took, following trips to the University of Georgia, University of Texas, University of Arkansas and University of Miami. The Trojans' women's class is ranked No. 1 by MileSplit.
